What Sofa Club collects, why, and how to take it back.
Your account
Your email, username and display name, so you can sign in and appear to friends. Guests get an anonymous account with no email.
Your library
The titles you track, your watched episodes, ratings, reviews, lists, and any files you import. We use them to show what is next and to power your profile and the Club, within the privacy level you set in Settings.
Alerts
If you turn on alerts, we store your notification settings and a push subscription for your browser.
Vercel Analytics
Aggregate page views. They set no cookies and do not follow you across sites, so they need no consent.
Microsoft Clarity
Only if you accept cookies: screen recordings and heatmaps of how the site is used, with text you type masked. Clarity sets cookies and is run by Microsoft. If you decline, or your browser sends Global Privacy Control, it never loads. Change your choice any time with Cookie settings in the footer.
Titles and where to watch
Film and show data comes from TMDB, where-to-watch data from JustWatch and air times from TVmaze. Their requests are made from our server, not your browser.
Your choices and deletion
You can change your privacy level and withdraw cookie consent at any time. To see, export or delete your account and data, email support@sofaclub.app and we will act within 30 days.
